Leadership and Change Management

Course Overview

Successful change management requires a large commitment from executives and senior managers regardless of the sector in which they operate. Leadership from the senior team is the most significant factor in helping employees to buy into and support needed changes. This workshop aims to build knowledge of leadership and change management strategies in a dynamic world.


  • Understanding leadership in a changing economic and social climate
  • Applying change management techniques
  • Understanding practical approaches to a changing workplace
  • Applying practical techniques for managing interpersonal problems
  • Understanding and applying conflict management techniques 


  • Understand and apply practical strategies to manage change in the workplace
  • Apply sensitive and informed techniques for the management of interpersonal problems
  • Recognize and examine conflict management and its link to change management and leadership


Participants must be competent in communication at NQF level 4 .  (This is generally proven through a National Senior Certificate or equivalent.)
